Festive Ice Cream for the Thanksgiving Season

Hey all,

Even though Thanksgiving has come and gone, there are still three days left in which to enjoy one of the most well-represented forms of festive consumer culture: the seasonal limited edition ice cream selection.

This year, over a dozen brands of ice cream have contributed to the November list for limited edition ice cream flavors. These include, but are not limited to:

Turkey Hill: Presenting, "Turkey Day" a concoction of chocolate ice cream with REAL BITS OF TURKEY covered in dark chocolate and then blended with sweet potato, chocholate fudge, and cranberry sauce. No, I am not making this up. You want an all in one meal that goes heavy on the chocolate side? Well look no further than this bad boy.

Graeter: Presenting, "Pumpkin Pie" a fairly tame version of the real holiday dessert with bits of pumpkin pie chunks though out the quart container.

Dreyers: Presenting, "Apple Pie" close to the Graeter take on Pumpkin Pie, this conglomeration infuses an apple cinnimon base flavor over chunks of apple crust and pie filling mixed in through out its body. Don't forget the whipped cream!

Ben & Jerry's: Presenting, "Pumkin Cheesecake" full of the spice and nutmeg of any traditional pumpkin pie, but with the added twist of tangy cheesecake with the strong after taste of cream cheese. On top of that, a GRAHM CRAKER SWIRL! Gota hand it to Ben and Jerry, they sure know how to mix up the traditional pumpkin ice cream experience.
